***MULTIMEDIA PACKAGE*** Oliver on Proposed Constitutional Amendment on Judicial Pensions (TRENTON) -- Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver issued a multimedia package Monday in which she discusses the proposed constitutional amendment regarding judicial pension payments. The measure (SCR-110) was approved 28-0 by the Senate and 62-3 by the Assembly Monday, setting the stage for the proposed amendment to be placed on the ballot in November asking voters to decide whether to clarify the Legislature's authority to pass laws taking contributions from justices' and certain judges' salaries for pensions and benefits.
