Responsiblities
An Outreach Coordinator serves as a liaison between district offices and governmental agencies and assists Assembly members with all aspects of constituent relations to better serve and inform the residents of their respective districts.
Background
Jillian Dempsey was born in Monmouth County and grew up in a suburb outside of Rochester, New York.
After working as a retail manager and in the restaurant/catering industry, Ms. Dempsey accepted a position as the administrative assistant for the Associate Executive Director of the Assembly Majority Office. She also worked as the administrative assistant for former Speaker Albio Sires.
In early 2007, Ms. Dempsey joined the Constituent Relations department as an Outreach Coordinator.
Ms. Dempsey currently resides in Belmar, NJ, where she is involved in local government and politics. She managed the 2005 borough council campaign and served on the Belmar Board of Adjustment.
Education
Ms. Dempsey graduated from Monclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
