(TRENTON) – Legislation to condemn and vehemently oppose the proposed $225 million Christie settlement with ExxonMobil for environmental damages at the Bayway and Bayonne refinery and other sites, help wounded veterans, improve Route 130 pedestrian safety, boost small businesses, study the effectiveness of business tax incentives, require cultural diversity training for police and require carbon monoxide detectors highlight Thursday’s Assembly voting session.
Bills to help active duty service members, improve utility consumer protections, crackdown on metal theft, better protect the state from offshore pollution, improve disposal of unneeded prescription drugs and help vocational school construction are also on tap.
