Moriarty, Mosquera & Madden Call for Investigation into Atlantic City Electric’s Poor Response to Storm Related Power Outages

Assembly members Paul Moriarty and Gabriela Mosquera and Senator Fred Madden sent a letter to the state Board of Public Utilities on Friday asking for an investigation into Atlantic City Electric’s (ACE) poor response to the powerful storm earlier this week that has left many fourth district residents still without power.

In doing so, the lawmakers expressed their concern with ACE’s poor communication and coordination with elected officials and emergency personnel and their frustration with the lack of information regarding power restoration plans.

With local efforts to obtain information being hampered by the continued lack of power, the lawmakers have asked the BPU to investigate the matter and report back with their findings.
