Andrzejczak: Storm Preparedness A Year-Round Effort

(1st LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT) – Assemblyman Bob Andrzejczak (D-Cape May/Cumberland/Atlantic) released the following statement on Friday on the need for storm preparedness:

“Storm preparedness is always a good idea. We often hear about it right before a potential storm hits, but the best approach is to always be ready. Dangerous weather impacts New Jersey at regular intervals.
“Stay informed, make a plan and prepare emergency supplies. Understand the dangers of each type of storm.
“The forecasts for Joaquin looks better by the minute, with most thankfully taking it offshore, but heavy rain and flooding is still predicted, so this is still a good time to review your plans and get ready. This is the best way to keep your family safe.
“A great first step is to visit the state’s Office of Emergency Management web site at http://www.ready.nj.gov/”
