Anti-Poverty Measures, Gender Pay Equity, North Jersey Casino Gaming & Port Authority Reform Highlight Monday Assembly Session

EITC Increase, Work First New Jersey Boost & Rental Assistance for 1,000 More Families among Bills on Tap

(TRENTON) – The Assembly will meet Monday to vote on a host of bills including asking voters to approve North Jersey casino gaming, reforming the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, ensure gender pay equity and combat poverty, including increasing a tax credit for the working poor, boosting benefits for needy families and providing 1,000 more households with rental assistance.
