Hearing Comes Amid Lagging Christie Revenue Collections
(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee will hear testimony from the state treasurer Wednesday amid reports of lagging state revenue collections.
The committee will get a revenue update from the Office of State Legislative Services at 10 a.m. The state treasurer will provide an update at 1 p.m.
Assembly Budget Chairman Vincent Prieto (D-Hudson/Bergen) has asked the treasurer to be prepared to detail revenue collections and the Christie administration’s plans for dealing with them for both this and next fiscal year.
Both hearings will be in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton. Audio of the hearings will be streamed live at:
