Assembly Budget Panel to Consider Treasury & Judiciary Spending

Panel Also Will Consider Economic Development Bill

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee will meet Thursday to consider proposed spending for the Department of the Treasury and the Judiciary, while also considering legislation to revamp New Jersey’s economic development incentives.
The Treasury hearing is set for 10 a.m.
The Judiciary hearing is set for 2 p.m.
The committee will then also consider the legislation (A-3680) sponsored by Assembly Democrats Albert Coutinho (D-Essex), Troy Singleton (D-Burlington), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Mercer/Hunterdon), Ruben J. Ramos Jr. (D-Hudson), Jerry Green (D-Union/Middlesex/Somerset) and Herb Conaway M.D. (D-Burlington) to boost New Jersey’s job creation efforts by revamping and streamlining the state’s economic development tax incentives
The hearings will be in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
