Assembly Budget Panel to Hear Budget Overviews & Revenue Forecasts

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee will meet Wednesday to hear budget proposal overviews and revenue forecasts from the state treasurer and the Office of Legislative Services.
Discussion is also expected to touch upon the Assembly Democratic plan for a 20 percent property tax relief credit for households with incomes up to $250,000 and a 25 percent property tax relief credit for senior and disabled citizens.
The Office of Legislative Services will testify at 10 a.m.
The state treasurer is schedule to testify at 1 p.m.
The hearing will be held in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex on West State Street in Trenton.
