Assembly Panel to Consider Christie Spending Plans for Education, Department of State, NJEDA & NJSEA

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee on Monday will consider Gov. Christie’s proposed spending plans for the Department of Education, Department of State, New Jersey Economic Development Authority and the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.
The Department of Education budget will be heard at 10 a.m.
Under Gov. Christie’s budget plan, direct aid to school districts is $111.9 million less than before he took office.
The Department of State, NJEDA and NJSEA will be heard at 2 p.m.

The hearings will be held in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
