Assembly Panel to Hold 4th Hearing on NJ’s Transportation Funding Crisis in AC

The Assembly Transportation Committee will meet Thursday in Atlantic City during the Annual League of Municipalities Convention for the fourth of several hearings on New Jersey’s transportation funding crisis.

The hearing will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in Hall A of the Atlantic City Convention Center, 1 Convention Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey. A convention pass is not required for members of the public to attend the hearing.

The committee will take testimony concerning the transportation network in municipalities around the state. Expected to testify are local and county officials, including mayors and officials from the NJ Association of Counties. The committee will also consider the role of the Transportation Trust Fund in financing the local transportation network and alleviating the property tax burden on the state’s residents.
