Assembly Panel to Take Testimony from Port Authority Executive Director on GWB Lane Closures

Foye to Testify at 10 a.m. on Questionable Lane Closures in Fort Lee in September

(TRENTON) – The Assembly transportation committee will meet Monday to take testimony from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s executive director on the decision by the agency to close – without public notice – access lanes to the George Washington Bridge in September.
The Assembly Transportation, Public Works and Independent Authorities Committee will meet on Monday at 10 a.m. in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex on West State Street in Trenton.

The committee will take testimony from Patrick Foye, executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, on the decision by the agency to reduce, without prior public notice, the number of access lanes to the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee from Sept. 9 through Sept. 13.
Foye was subpoenaed on by Deputy Speaker John Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) to testify before the panel on the matter.
