ASSEMBLYMAN COUTINHO JOINS ADVOCATES IN DECRYING CHRISTIE CUTS TO NJ FAMILYCARE & CHARITY CARE

The NJ For Health Care Coalition was recently joined by Assemblyman Albert Coutinho to call on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to stop cuts to NJ’s FamilyCare and charity care programs.

“These poorly thought-out cuts will do nothing but add more people to the Charity Care rolls and cut much needed federal support for our hospitals,” said Coutinho (D-Essex). “The combined effect of these cuts will place additional pressure on our already distressed hospital system…”
