Assemblywoman Caride Statement on Budget Vote
(TRENTON) – Assembly Education Chairwoman Marlene Caride (D-Passaic/Bergen) released the following statement on the budget vote:
“This disagreement over Horizon should be a fight for another day. Today, we should concentrate on the people’s work, and ensure that we can avoid a government shutdown.
“Today’s vote on the Assembly floor was shameful. Stop letting the Governor’s unfair political tactics stand in the way of your vote and remain focused on the citizens of New Jersey and your constituents.”
