(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan (D-Middlesex) and the state Department of Military and Veteran Affairs will host a ceremony on Wednesday to unveil the new “Patriot’s Corner” plaque in the State House in honor of all New Jersey residents currently serving in the United States Armed Forces and the New Jersey Army National Guard.
Diegnan sponsored the law to create the permanent State House tribute to New Jersey’s men and women in uniform. The monument was funded by private donations.
The ceremony will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 outside the Senate Chambers and Room L103 in the State House. For more information, call (908) 757-1677.
