Bill A3837 Advances from committee requiring State government entities provide vital documents and translation services in certain common non-English languages

Almost a third of New Jersey residents aged five and up speak a language other than English. Bill A3837, advanced out of two Assembly committees today, champions access to information and equal protection for all by having state agencies provide essential documents and translation services in certain commonly spoken non-English languages. Doing this ensures every New Jerseyan can fully exercise their rights and access vital services.
