Children in Vehicle, Mental Health for Teens, Youth Defibrillators, Studying Later School Start Times Also on Tap

(TRENTON) – A 5-bill package to help boost struggling Atlantic City and legislation to toughen penalties for swatting, protect student privacy, assist farmers, promote clean water and require disclosure of complete property tax information highlight Thursday’s Assembly voting session.
Bills cracking down on tobacco in schools, targeting those who driver drunk with children in the vehicle, encouraging mental health care for teens, requiring defibrillators at youth events and studying whether later school start times would be beneficial are also on tap.
