Assembly Appropriations Chairman John Burzichelli (D-Gloucester/Cumberland/Salem) released the following statement Thursday on the governor’s line item budget vetoes:
“This list of line item vetoes cuts is painful to see. Democrats submitted a responsible budget that wasn’t all that different from the governor’s proposal, yet we sought to help the middle-class, the poor and the most vulnerable struggling to make ends meet. These line item vetoes are disappointing and disheartening.”
