Burzichelli: ‘Terminally Ill Deserve to have Choice’

Assemblyman John Burzichelli (D-Gloucester/Salem/Cumberland) had the following published in the Courier-Post :

“Choice. As it stands, the law in New Jersey prohibits a terminally ill person, of sound mind, the decision on whether or not to end his or her life quietly or to suffer through pain and a diminished quality of life. This, in turn, strips away people’s freedom to decide how they would like to live their remaining days…”
