Calabrese Attends National Forum on Education Policy in Denver, Colorado

Attending the National Forum on Education Policy from July 10-12, 2019, Assemblyman Calabrese (D-Bergen, Passaic), who also serves as an appointed commissioner to the Education Commission of States, released the following statement regarding the conference:

“The National Forum on Educational Policy has provided a tremendously valuable setting for education leaders and policy makers, from across the nation and political divides, to come together. As I see it we should always be learning from others how to improve and strengthen our current policies to best serve our students, educators and local communities.

“While at the conference, we’ve discussed how shifts in policy could work to overcome modern educational challenges and the issue of accessibility on everything from preschool to post-secondary education. Undeniably, this level of collaboration and information sharing will continue to be invaluable for generations to come and I’m excited to bring new policy ideas back to the Legislature.”
