(TRENTON) – Assembly Democrats Ralph Caputo and Cleopatra Tucker (both D-Essex) issued the following statement on today’s budget vote:

“This budget reflects our Democratic priorities. It is maddening that despite this, we are at a standstill because the governor wants something he can’t get. We want to remind those members who are refusing to support this bill that a government shutdown has consequences for the constituents they vowed to represent. The Horizon bill would hurt millions of policy holders. We ask our colleagues to really think about the consequences of these actions, and do what’s right for the people of New Jersey.”
