Assemblywoman Linda Carter (D-Middlesex, Somerset, Union) issued the following statement on Friday commending the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs’ Community Services Block Grant award of $222,933 to Union County:
“Healthcare access, quality education, employment opportunity and housing play pivotal roles in the social and economic success of our communities. With the additional funding awarded under this grant, Union County will be able to help community programs flourish and ensure community services are best equipped to assist residents who need them.”
