Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro (D-Hudson) voiced her support Thursday for Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto in regards to the ongoing battle over the potential bankruptcy of Atlantic City.
“I wholeheartedly support the efforts of Speaker Prieto to ensure that the Assembly has a voice on the future of Atlantic City. As the Speaker of the Assembly, he deserves a place at the table in these discussions and should not be expected to just be a rubber stamp.
“I hope the Governor, the Senate, and the Assembly will come together to find a solution that ensures all representatives of New Jersey can work together to solve the issues surrounding Atlantic City.”
