(TRENTON) – The Assembly on Monday will vote on Charlie’s Law to establish civil penalties for those who interfere with or deny persons with disabilities accompanied by a service dog access to public places and to monitor the Christie administration’s plan to shift mental health and substance abuse treatment to a fee-for-service model.
It will also vote on bills to establish an animal abuse registry, enact the Reader Privacy Act, improve cyclist and pedestrian safety, help schools pay for lead testing and provide rental assistance to veterans.
