Assemblyman Herb Conaway, Jr., M.D. (D-Burlington), Chair of the Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee, on Friday praised the national advocacy group Autism Speaks for their public support of vaccinating children to save lives:
“I applaud Autism Speaks for their unequivocal endorsement of vaccinations. Given their leadership and advocacy for individuals and families dealing with autism, their strong statement in support of vaccinations is particularly laudable.
“We must do everything we can to dispel the myths and debunk bad science surrounding vaccinations. The facts are clear: vaccinations are safe, save lives, and prevent disease. Every child who can be vaccinated, should be vaccinated.”
