COUTINHO: CHRISTIE PLAN WILL HURT BUSINESSES SMALL & LARGE ALIKE

(TRENTON) – Assembly Commerce and Economic Development Chairman Albert Coutinho (D-Essex) released the following statement Tuesday after Gov. Chris Christie’s budget address:

“While budget cuts are necessary, Gov. Christie’s plan to strip away Urban Enterprise Zone funding and tax businesses with new fees and his failure to follow through on his promised income tax cut for small businesses will drive economic development out of New Jersey.

“During the campaign the governor said that he would be a friend to business, but his budget plan will hurt business owners small and large alike.”
