CRYAN: ENOUGH CHRISTIE CHATTING ON JOBS

(TRENTON) – Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan (D-Union) released the following statement on Thursday on Gov. Chris Christie appearing with a Fox News Channel commentator to discuss the economy:

“It’s very nice that the governor found the time to sit around talking with a conservative commentator, but it would be even nicer if he could find the time to finally sign the Democratic job creation and economic development bills that have been sitting on his desk for weeks.
“With unemployment above 9 percent and the state hemorrhaging jobs in December, New Jersey residents cannot afford talk in front of television cameras. They need action and they need it now.
“It’s time for the governor to stop fiddling on Fox and do the right thing and sign these bills.”
