CRYAN ON CWA BENEFITS REFORM PROPOSAL

(TRENTON) – Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan (D-Union) released the following statement Friday on the health benefits reform proposal offered by the Communications Workers of America as part of collective bargaining on a new contract:

“This is a strong proposal that serves as a good basis to jump-start collective bargaining with the administration. The administration should give it a serious review and then return to the table with a willingness to use it as the basis to begin earnest negotiations.
“The workers have made a proposal as part of a good faith negotiating effort, and the administration should now do the same.”
