Assembly Majority Leader Joe Cryan today released the following statement on the tragic and untimely passing of former Congressman and State Senator John Adler:
“John Adler lived and breathed public service, much to the benefit of every New Jerseyan. His untimely passing is a tremendous loss to this state, but his legacy will undoubtedly endure.
“Because of John, and the Smoke-Free Air Act he fought tirelessly for, we all breathe cleaner air today. That, in itself, is a legacy that will save lives, one his family should be proud of.
“My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and sons, as well as the rest of his family and his many friends.”
