Assemblyman Joe Danielsen, in cooperation with the Stage House Tavern in Somerset, hosted his 4th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast on Friday, November 8. Over 100 veterans and guests from Franklin Township were in attendance, including those from the Greatest Generation of World War II vets through those who served in Vietnam and Desert Storm.
Also in attendance were Air Force veterans Mayor Phil Kramer of Franklin, Somerset County and Somerset Freeholder Shanel Robinson.
“It is an honor being able to do this breakfast every year as a small way to say thank you to those who served our nation,” said Danielsen (D-Middlesex, Somerset), who served in the Army Reserves 78th Division. “We must always remember to give veterans our thanks for their service to our country.”
Danielsen gave a special thanks to the host, saying, “Since I began the Veterans Day Breakfast, Stage House has gone above and beyond by hosting us and providing all the food free of charge.”
