Final Saturday Hearing set for Bergen County Community College May 12
(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Joe Danielsen (D-Middlesex/Somerset), chairman of the Assembly Oversight, Reform and Federal Relations Committee released the following statement Saturday after the committee heard testimony on the impact of potential marijuana legalization:
“Today’s testimony was insightful, particularly on the impact legalization could have on social justice, youth consumption and the proliferation of drug addiction in our communities. As we continue to discuss this topic, we must consider any disproportionate effect this could have on our communities.
“I sincerely thank our invited speakers for their input and the members of the community for attending the hearing today. We have much more to talk about when it comes to legalization and I look forward to continuing the discussion on May 12.”
