Assemblyman Joseph Danielsen (D-Middlesex/Somerset) issued the following statement Wednesday regarding the New Jersey Supreme Court’s ruling on pension funding:
“The Supreme Court has made its decision – one in which I am disappointed – and I have also made mine. I will continue to strongly support a state budget that must include the full pension payment as per Chapter 78 PL 2011, not only because it is the law, but also because it is the moral obligation we made to our public employees, both active and retired,” said Danielsen.
