DIEGNAN: ‘ARTS COUNCIL TREATED POORLY’

Assemblyman Patrick J. Diegnan Jr. (D-Middlesex) had the following published Tuesday in The Star-Ledger:

“Mandating ethical behavior for public officials should be a priority for anyone who cares about New Jersey. Policy makers must never tolerate actions that lead to personal gain for those who serve our citizens.

“But the recent questioning of the integrity of the members of the state Council on the Arts by Lt. Gov. Guadagno was unnecessarily heavy-handed. …”
