Assembly Transportation Committee Vice-Chair Patricia Egan Jones (D-Camden, Gloucester) issued the following statement regarding the shutdown of River LINE service:
“Riders have been disappointed again by NJ Transit’s abrupt shutdown of South Jersey’s River LINE. It’s hard to believe that no one saw this problem coming before a potential week-long closure was forced on riders from the Capitol City to Camden. Unfortunately, daily River LINE riders awoke to this news and the task of planning a different route to work this morning.”
