Gender Pay Equity, November Fire Elections, Regulating Daily Fantasy Sports & Airbnb-type Businesses & Lead Testing at Health Care Facilities Highlight Monday Assembly Session

Protections for Domestic Violence Victims, Personal Privacy Act & Biz Programs for LGBT, Disabled & Veterans

(TRENTON) – The Assembly on Monday will vote on bills to enhance gender pay equity protections, allow fire district elections be moved to November, regulate daily fantasy sports, impose the sales and hotel tax to accommodations such as Airbnb and to require health care facilities test for lead in drinking water and disclose the test results.
Also on tap: enhancing resident voting rights in homeowners’ associations, improving protections for domestic violence victims, protecting veterans from discrimination, the Personal Information and Privacy Act and creating business assistance programs for businesses owned by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, disabled persons and veterans.
