Assemblyman Tom Giblin (D-Essex/Passaic) issued the following statement in support of the FY 2018 budget:
“I remain concerned about the Horizon bill. This company – headquartered in Newark for more than 80 years – has a record of success in serving nearly 4 million New Jersey residents. Disrupting the budget process with a measure that essentially is a tax on those policyholders is wrong.
“The Democratic budget will protect working families at a time when action at the federal level threatens their well-being. Those who oppose it stand in the way of progress for the most vulnerable people in our state.”
