Greenwald: N.J. Wants Real Results, Not Christie Catchphrases

(TRENTON) – Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald (D-Camden/Burlington) released the following statement Wednesday after a Rutgers-Eagleton poll found 63 percent of New Jersey voters don’t buy Gov. Christie’s “New Jersey Comeback” claim:

“New Jerseyans are sharp people who know Gov. Christie cannot proclaim success while he’s overseeing a 9.8 percent unemployment rate and a net 20 percent property tax hike. New Jerseyans want real results and change, not empty catchphrases.
“It’s time for Gov. Christie to face the harsh reality of his policies and finally begin focusing on creating jobs, helping the middle-class and restoring funding he callously cut for women’s health care. The time for silly slogans is over. New Jerseyans want better.”
