Greenwald to Visit Highlands to Host Small Business Roundtable on Red Tape in Sandy Grant Process

(HIGHLANDS)–New Jersey Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald (D-Camden/Burlington) will meet with a group of small business owners Monday for a roundtable event to discuss problems with the Economic Development Authority’s administration of the Stronger New Jersey Business Grant program.
Many business owners have reported facing serious delays, red tape and a lack of transparency in the grant process.
Although the program began almost a year ago, the most recently released data show that only 334 grants have been awarded, out of more than 3,300 applications.
