Gun Safety Bills, School Security, Lead Hazard Control, Anti-Poverty Measures & Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Reform Highlight Thursday Assembly Session

(TRENTON) – Four gun safety bills – including bills to help protect domestic violence victims, keep guns away from criminals, establish a criminal firearms recovery clearing house and establish a statewide gun buyback program – and measures to improve school security, boost lead hazard control efforts, reform the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and combat poverty highlight Thursday’s Assembly voting session.
