Jasey on Horizon, Budget & End to State Shutdown

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Mila Jasey (D-Essex, Morris) released the following statement:

“Over the past three days, our top priorities were to reopen state government, get our hardworking state employees back to work and protect the 3.8 million Horizon subscribers.

“The delay in voting on the budget bill and the shutdown it caused was as unnecessary as it was unfortunate. We are relieved the shutdown ended in time for New Jerseyans to enjoy the 4th of July and, on Wednesday morning, we will be back in business with affected residents returning to work, and those needing essential state services and programs will have access to them.

“This is a fair and thoughtful budget, which I have supported from the beginning.”
