Assemblywoman Mila Jasey (D-Essex, Morris) issued the following statement in response to the passing of former Governor Jim Florio:
“I’m saddened to hear of Governor Jim Florio’s passing. New Jersey has lost a consummate public servant whose work on issues ranging from the environment to education impacted countless people throughout the state. We in New Jersey are better off thanks to his efforts. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends.”
