(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Angelica M. Jimenez (D-Bergen/Hudson) released the following statement Monday upon the death of U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg:
“It is with a heavy heart that I offer my condolences to the family of Sen. Lautenberg.
“He was someone I admired and respected. He represented New Jersey with dignity and great dedication, and leaves behind a legacy we can all aspire to. His longevity was only surpassed by his drive and passion for his work.
“Sen. Lautenberg was a wonderful example of what can be achieved with ambition and determination. He made a difference not just in New Jersey, but in the country. He will be missed.”
