Karabinchak Applauds DEP on Online Submission System for Land-Use Permit Applications

The Department of Environmental Protection recently announced contractors and builders will now be able to apply on line for land-use permits. Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, with over 30 years of contracting experience, applauds the development of the new system to improve efficiency, lower costs and help to expedite the permit process:

“Other states have already moved toward an online system for land-use applications; now, New Jersey has taken the right step toward improving efficiency our permit process. No more snail mail applications unless business elect to do so. However, the integration of electronic permit applications shouldn’t stop here and I look forward to other agencies in the development sector such as the Department of Community Affairs and Department of Transportation to follow suit.

“Making land-use permit application submissions accessible online will help to expedite building in our state and get more development going in our communities. DEP’s new system is great progress for New Jersey businesses and future development projects.”
