Lagana: Christie ‘Made in the U.S.A.’ Vetoes Disappointing

(TRENTON) – Assemblyman Joe Lagana (D-Bergen) released the following statement Thursday after Gov. Christie vetoed several bills he sponsored to promote use of American made products:

“I’m very disappointed to see Gov. Christie veto these bills at this crucial moment of the economic recovery. It was time to stop looking beyond our borders and recognize the value of tried and true products made in America. When we buy American, we invest in our workers and their families, and that was our goal in sponsoring these bills. We need to focus on creating jobs and economic growth in New Jersey, not elsewhere.”
