(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (D-Middlesex) released the following statement in recognition of International Workers Day:
“Today on International Workers Day, I would like to take the time to recognize the extraordinary efforts of the entire Hackensack Meridian Health team of nurses, doctors and support staff throughout this public health emergency.
“The Hackensack Meridian Health team felt the full force of the COVID-19 pandemic from the very beginning, and quickly mobilized resources to care for patients in need. I am one of many who remain inspired and thankful of the actions Hackensack Meridian Health has taken thus far. I know just how hard the entire system works every day to combat the spread of COVID-19.
“To every worker throughout the system, and every health care worker in New Jersey, thank you for your dedication and commitment to keeping us healthy and safe. While the battle is still not over, it is important to recognize your incredible efforts whenever possible. Your work has been nothing short of extraordinary. Thank you.”
