Lopez on Census Day: “Do Your Part in Securing NJ’s Future”

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (D-Middlesex) released the following statement in recognition of Census Day:

“April 1 marks Census Day. By today, every home in the United States should have received an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. You can respond online, by phone or by mail to ensure everyone in your household is counted. Your response should reflect how many people are living in your home as of today, April 1.
“The brief questionnaire only takes a few minutes, but your participation has long-lasting impacts for New Jersey. A fair and accurate count will mean New Jersey receives equitable representation in Congress, federal funding, and other critical resources determined by the Census count. I encourage you to take a few minutes to respond today, and do your part in securing New Jersey’s future. Please visit https://2020census.gov/en.html.
