Majority Leader Greenwald Statement on MLK Jr. Day 2015

Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald (D-Camden/Burlington) released the following statement Monday on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2015:

“Dr. King’s accomplishments and legacy will live on forever, but we also know the bid for equality and justice for all remains an unfinished dream.

“As we honor Dr. King today and devote ourselves to his example of service, let us remember that too many Americans still feel they’ve been left behind, and that we can never rest easy in the never-ending fight for justice.

“Dr. King once told us, ‘The time is always right to do what is right.’ Those are words we should live by each and every day.”
