(TRENTON) — Assemblyman Vincent Mazzeo (D-Atlantic) had the following published Monday in The Press of Atlantic City:
“New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware all have forms of gaming ranging from sports wagering to table games. The competition from the variety of gaming options offered in neighboring states is a direct threat to New Jersey’s gaming industry, but so is this recent talk of expanding gaming to other parts of New Jersey.
“Such talk, quite simply, thwarts ongoing efforts to redevelop Atlantic City and stabilize its gaming industry…”
