***MEDIA ADVISORY — FRIDAY*** SENATE, ASSEMBLY HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEES TO HOLD JOINT HEARING ON SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED

(TRENTON) — The Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee and the Assembly Human Services Committee will hold a joint hearing TOMORROW, MAY 7 to focus on State services provided for individuals living with developmental disabilities.

The joint hearing will feature testimony from invited speakers representing a broad cross-section of the advocacy community concerning New Jersey’s developmental centers and community-based services for people with developmental disabilities. Members of the public will also be permitted to submit written testimony for the committees’ consideration.

The hearing will be held in Committee Room 4 in the Statehouse Annex and is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM.
