To recognize and celebrate the artwork of local students, Assemblyman Roy Freiman (D-Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex and Somerset) will present a free art show featuring their work and introduce the new Roy Freiman Art Scholarship.
“Our community is filled with gifted students who have a wealth of artistic talent,” said Freiman. “This art show is a wonderful way to honor their creativity and nurture their future aspirations.”
The show will feature 16 works of art from middle and high school students from Hillsborough. Freiman also will introduce the new $500 scholarship, in his name, that will be offered to one student annually who is involved in visual, performing, and/or digital arts. The show will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Assemblyman Freiman’s district office located at
390 Amwell Road, Suite 301, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
